They had super delegates in 2008, too. Most of them started out committed to Clinton because SHE WAS THE PERSON THEY KNEW FOR 25 YEARS while Obama was an upstart junior senator from Illinois. Guess what happened? When Obama started winning primaries they switched to him. The same thing would have happened to Sanders if Clinton hadn't kicked his ass.
More like Obama was willing to take money from big money donors, and Bernie wasn't. Hillary didn't kick his ass in any sense that I've seen. He had the deck stacked against him, refused to take big money, and still wasn't mathematically eliminated. I know you want to fuck Hillary for some reason, but don't let your hard-on blind you. One of those two is the most popular politician in the country right now, and the other one isn't.
