Science doesn't have to be only physical science Ben.

When we use  the word, science, these days, it means phsyical science.

You are almost correct Ben.  
A bit like when in past people thought that the planet earth was flat.
Because 99% of the people meant just that there was no point in saying otherwise.
Science these days means physical as in the past the planet earth means flat flat and nothing else.

The OP isn't talking about mental travelers like you when he says the words "scientists."  There's no point arguing about that, because he will still mean what he meant, and we can see what he meant.

I instead refer to YOUR comment that say............and asking a scientist to speculate beyond that is to ask him not to do science............
