Not what I am saying. Yes that is true. But for the most part it has not gotten this lopsided since the end of the great depression. The GOP since Reagan has been successful in creating an extremely lopsided map.
I am hoping beyond hope that there is at least some objectivity left in the majority GOP SCOTUS to uphold lower courts who have called voter laws and district map making unconstitutional.
The founders set up political competition yes, but they never wanted any one group to gain a severe lopsided advantage. Unfortunately that is exactly what has grown since Reagan.
It also does not help that liberals sit home in midterms.
