I believe that children are our future. I believe that America's beauty is it's diversity. I believe kittens and puppies are cute, human babies not so much. I believe it's more important to be kind than to be clever. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe in separation of religion and government. I believe abuse of power is a root of evil. I believe in empiricism, logic, and reason. I believe to have good friends you have to be a good friend. I believe life is too short for holding grudges. I believe everyone should be equal in the eyes of the law. I believe in freedom of conscience and expression. I believe everyone should be treated like they matter. I believe people can change themselves if they really want to. I believe anthropogenic climate change is real. I believe Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV series ever made. I believe the best lesson in the Bible is the parable of the Good Samaritan. I believe everyone is struggling with something. I believe that wanting something to be true has nothing to do with whether it actually is true. I believe critical thinking should be part of Middle School course curriculums. I believe in second chances. I believe there's something about the outside of a dog that's good for the inside of a man.

I believe I could fill volumes just with statements about what I believe. But you say I believe nothing because I'm an atheist. I say you're obviously and absurdly wrong about that. What else might you be wrong about?
