I have noticed that this one is VERY important to them. They enjoy the idea of gloating over the non-believers. It probably has to do with frustration, doubts they have. It may also deal with the fact that some of them are flat out assholes, and completely enjoy the idea of people they dont like burning in pain forever and ever.
Belief in Hell speaks VOLUMES of the inner scum lying on the minds of the believer. If you believe eternal torture is righteous, then any other form of torture and such on earth is considered merciful. So yeah, put them on the racks. Put their feet in boiling oil...anything to get them to convert and save them from an eternity of hell fire.
