Arianism holds the belief that Jesus was begotten by God the Father, that Jesus was real and separate from the Father thus being subordinate to the Father. The Bible describes this very thing.

That's not how science works.
I didn't say how science works, I was speaking strictly about what we believe. There is so much wrong with secular science today that it's hard to know what to believe especially in the medical field.
Quote:You know that's not what I meant, we were talking about comfort not healing. As for the surgeons, knowing how Christians pray they asked God for His help in guiding them and for His comforts upon the patient, they would ask for healing of the patient if it's in His will. Christians learn from scripture to pray in and for God's will, somethings can't be changed (God's ultimate will) and then somethings can be changed because they are not within that ultimate will.
Khemikla Wrote:Uh, yeah..I -do- know that's not what you meant. I also know that it takes a grade f bullshitter to make the statement that lead to this series of wheedling retractions. Jesusism has jack shit to do with -anyones- rep in providing medicine....and you know that too.
My wife's reputation as a nurse was a very good one and it was due to the fact she is a Christian, I personally would rather have a Christian doctor work with me than one who is atheist.

Khemikla Wrote:Yeah, it would be you...wouldn't it. OFC it's not a history book or a science text - but if it were literal and even remotely accurate..it would be.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
