I was taking math class yesterday. Something about Buddha being very into big and small numbers of calculating it. So you think if a culture has that as a hobby, then it may not be surprising why that area of the world are very good at math. But what you think?

Of all the major world religions, Buddhism probably has the least baggage. That doesn't make it pro intellectualism. Hell, the Catholic church officially acknowledges evolution and engages in astronomy. Still, I don't think too many people think of the Vatican as pro-intellectualism, lol.
