There's more truth to that than I care to admit.
All movements within Judaism do accept converts, but we don't make it easy. Also, conversions that are universally accepted are few and far between. -But that's an internal matter.

You're correct. We don't actively recruit.

I can work to change things within my own religion, but I generally leave other religions to work out their own problems unless I see that people are being harmed or they're trying to impose their values onto me.
