I really just want to know what he has done that has made your life as miserable as some of these people claim to be. I understand he had plenty of weakness's. But he couldn't have been all that bad.
Short answer: He's a democrat. They need nothing more than that.
I mean, that's about all it comes down to. I've seen some lefties say it's because he's black, but, really, the same people who hate Obama didn't hesitate to line up behind Ben Carson or Herman Cain.
But it's still a question a lot of right wingers need to think over because they should kinda love him. He rarely, if ever, stood up to the GOP. He was able to put a couple of people on the supreme court and he would have had three if he had fought it. But as far as policy, if you take out Obamacare, they pretty much got everything they wanted (and now that they have the chance, they aren't as eager to get rid of Obamacare as they were before). I think the other biggest accomplishments of Obama were actually places where he didn't do anything; specifically, instead of fighting them, the federal government didn't fight it when states legalized marijuana and he didn't fight same sex marriage. If they actually wanted less government interfering with our lives, Republicans should have loved this: government doesn't care who you marry or what you smoke.
A better question the right needs to ask themselves is this: the GOP supported Dubya in 2000 and 2004 but has hated him since 2006; why? What policies did Bush support that you hate? What actions did Bush take that you disagree with? How did Bush hurt the country? This is important because, from my perspective, the GOP has always been promoting exactly the same policies that Dubya has championed.
