If I become a Muslim, do I have to cover up my whole body? What if I got all nekid?
Funny you should mention that, and not that I would post the pictures here. But a few years ago I ran across pictures of three Iranian women who protested fully nude outside an embassy somewhere in Europe. Basically a "my body" protest much in the same way American women burned their bras in the 60s and 70s, but in their case fully nude.
I wont lie, they were all attractive.
While Islam on average does still far too much in the middle east treat women as second class or property to submit to the male figure of the family. The idea of the honor of the family falling on the females by remaining chaste until marriage, and blaming the rape victim, unfortunately also exists in India and China, whom have a far worse problem in not reporting assault than say Europe or America.
So again, while one can point out sexism in the Koran, it is not a patent owned by only Islam, it exists to greater or lesser degrees worldwide depending on family, sect and geography. The Amish and LDS and Mormons also have some very conservative family views about girls/women, even if they don't force them to wear a tent.
