Yea usually I don't kick myself over that. But I do have an entire thread of poems in my sig that are full of misspelled words and typos, 18 pages long. Brian Sapient's website, that is my host, does not have a spellcheck ap that works with his website. Combine that with the fact that I rush to get my thoughts out, and would rather leave the mistake in than lose it by accidentally losing the poem by hitting the wrong key, which I have done before.
I am not a perfectionist. I look at my poetry more like a photographer "Shoot first ask questions later". Meaning the message matters more than the mistakes and take enough photographs eventually you take one that strikes a nerve.
I don't have a paid staff to check my spelling otherwise I really would not have an excuse. But still, when you hope you can get some exposure and it is considered by a major atheist org, it is nerve racking knowing you still sent spelling errors.
