Yea sure you can run and win on what you believe, even our foes win on that sometimes.
In the west, while we value pluralism and debate, as we should, that cannot be lost to facts. Chasing power just because you want to be on top, even if successful only means you dominated your opposition, it does not mean you won on facts.
So sure even the GOP wants to push what they believe, but right now I don't see anymore value in their religious economic desires as I would Iran or Saudi Arabia.
All I see are humans fighting over utopias, not facts.
