Your friend's post didn't seem malicious although what she said wasn't particularly helpful to you, either. I'm a big believer in choosing your battles and, frankly, it's up to you in the end whether to unfriend her. As Facebook reminds you when you click "unfriend", it can't be undone.
Something I've done in similar situations is "unfollow" or customize posts so a particular person can't see my posts. Maybe try that and if you decide later that her Facebook friendship isn't worth it, then hit "unfriend".
