Liberals DO NOT begrudge those who do well in life, black or white. What we question which you and those you posted are long term economic views. The long term reality in America is that minorities on average still get hurt worse by the economy and justice system.
White rural poor and rust belt middle class are having a harder time making ends meet too. But when it comes to our long term economy, minorities are still not being treated equally. That is not an attack on black republicans, that is a criticism of the GOP and it does not make any sense to me if you are a minority and want minorities to do as well as you have as a minority, why you would support a party that does nothing to support economic equality.
This is why I keep telling you to STOP treating blacks as pro sports trading cards. It should be about better pay for urban, suburban and even rural working class and poor. But we cannot get there as long as you stupidly keep your head up your ass.
You are pointing to individual success and we are talking about over all economic policies. It is no different with LGBT when we say on average they get the short end of the stick. You cant point to someone like Ellen and say, "she is successful" because that is not our beef. Just like blacks, ON AVERAGE, LGBT are not treated equally.
If you want to bridge the gap between poor urban and poor rural workers, do yourself a favor and PULL YOUR FUCKING HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS. Liberals would love nothing more than to make it solely about wallet issues. But it will not be done long term by ignoring economic inequality. NOBODY is begrudging individuals who do well.
If urbans and suburbans and rural workers all make livable wages, and don't have to chose between health care and bills everyone will do better. But right now our economy does effect minorities on average more negatively.
But if you do anything, PLEASE STOP treating blacks as trading cards in bubble gum packs.
Quote:But if you do anything, PLEASE STOP treating blacks as trading cards in bubble gum packs.Rest assured, Brian, that's not my intention. My original point, there's too many posters here who are quick to throw down the race card when you disagree with them simply on policy issues. Just because I don't agree with Obama and his party's liberal policies doesn't make me a racist. I just simply posted pictures of black conservative lawmakers whose policies I support and to see what some of the members here thought of these lawmakers. If I'm truly the racist they claim I am I wouldn't vote for these candidates no matter what political platform they stand for. On the other hand, the very ones who accused myself and others of being racists are the very people who have used the "N" word in posts on numerous occasions and have used other racial epithets like, "Uncle Tom" and "Step and Fetch" to describe black conservatives. I don't care what context they're used in, if some of these posters can throw around racist slurs as comfortably as they do, they haven't convinced me that they themselves aren't racist.
GET THIS THROUGH YOUR TINY PEA BRAIN SKULL!
WE ARE NOT pulling the race card FUCKFACE!
Pointing out the national averages of pay and how the economy affects one segment of society vs another is NOT playing the race card. It is simply stating a FACT!
"Blacks on average make less", is a fact, even when they move up to the middle or rich classes. On average compared to whites doing the same work, even in the middle and rich classes. None of that sentence you just read is saying, "The only way blacks can prove they are liberal is to stay poor." It is fucking nonsense for you or those you posted to even dare imply that.
It is the same with our justice system. ON AVERAGE, if you or I for example got caught with pot in our car in a state where it is illegal, we would be charged maybe, but not as harshly as someone of color. ON AVERAGE.
None of what you just read is playing the race card so fucking knock it off. It is looking economic history.
Those you posted are just as willing to say, "fuck the white Walmart worker in Oklahoma". So yea, in that context you are not racist. You are both willing to say, "fuck the poor."
Me, I hate greed not the private sector. I hate selfishness, not success. I am happy for blacks when they are successful as much as I want Kentucky and West Virginia's dying coal mine industry to be replaced by new technology so even their workers can have that independence you keep talking about.
You, "I want blacks to be successful"
Those you posted in those pictures, "We black republicans do too."
AWESOME, me too, but "fuck you I got mine" is not the way to get there.
The GOP has sold you the idea that taxes on the rich are robbery, I see them as an investment. Taxes on the rich during the post WW2 boom were what gave us the middle class. All
You wont help urban blacks or poor rural whites with the failed economics of Reagan. If Reagan's policies worked nobody would be bitching.
