I'm not avoiding what the scriptures teach, I am flat-out telling you they are false. The inconsistency of god being love and the concept of hell seems to allude you.
Saying 'it is what it is' gives me great insight into your critical thinking behind your belief system. And by critical thinking I mean lack thereof. You seem unable to justify your position so you just accept it as is.
When I say it is what it is, I mean you can not wish away the truth, you do not want to face the reality of hell so you make up your own nonbelief story.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
