Seems you dislike loyalty, why is that my friend?
No, I do not think that Rhythm dislikes loyalty. It seems clear to me that he dislikes
[i]hypocrisy]/i]. There are many who say "I would give my life for X.", where X can be
replaced with "christ" "my country" "my children" or many other things. The truth
comes out when it comes time for someone to actually give their life for such things.
Many people give their lives for their countries. Some people give their lives for their
children. People have given their lives for Christ, or for their other religious beliefs,
but there are very few of them among the ordinary people you encounter today
online or IRL who actually are faced with such a choice - yet vocally declare how they
would choose.
Many of the "ordinary" "everyday" Christians I encounter seem to be ready to give
their lives for Christ, yet openly violate Christian teachings - many have had children
out of wedlock (ignoring the rules on fornication and adultery, while standing fast to
beliefs that birth control and abortion are wrong), being all for the death penalty,
utterly refusing to help the poor in any way, being drunken, taking and paying
interest (usery), and on and on. What I've come to believe is that few Christians actually
believe in Jesus or Christ or heaven or hell or the resurrection or judgement any more
than I do! They just talk a good show.
