I don't think you know what critical thinking skills even are. If I am wrong then maybe you'd like to tell us what you'd need to do to think critically.

 I do not have to use critical thinking to tear down things, I can use it to find truth. There are no other gods so I have the right One, the One who has saved me.

Nor can you respond to the point that your method is not self correcting if you pick the wrong god to have faith in. This tells us that you could be wrong about everything that you believe in and not realise.
