Let me ask, can a racist or the religious do something good? In part or in whole, especially if it has little or nothing to do with race or religion?
I don't mean the people are racist I mean the song is racist. It remains racist even if the ones singing parts of it are ignorant to it being so. That doesn't make THEM racist is just means the song is. That's why I think we should change it. It is a pretty song by itself but now that I know why he wrote it the whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
