Lady, you do know the proper use of quotation marks, don't you? Apparently not. Anyway, I don't believe that black people are inherently more violent than any other group. I already gave one possible environmental explanation for the fact that blacks are more violent - single parent families. The stats bear this explanation out better than the poverty explanation, as Sowell notes.

At the time of the interaction with police, the cause is indeed irrelevant. If a cop shot someone who was about to shoot you, you wouldn't afterward praise the cop if the assailant turned out to be rich, but condemn the cop if the assailant was poor. That would be idiotic.
