How so?
By your steadfast refusal to look into the problem of causation vs correlation, as was pointed out above by LfC. You insist he was only talking about police violence towards blacks, but that is not the case:
Steve Wyche Wrote:"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
[...]
"This is not something that I am going to run by anybody," he said. "I am not looking for approval. I have to stand up for people that are oppressed. ... If they take football away, my endorsements from me, I know that I stood up for what is right."
It's true that he emphasized police violence, but in the parts I've emboldened, he was referring to oppression, not just police violence. It stands to reason, then, that analyzing the causes of such violence is part of this discussion -- a part you heartily refuse to regard at all, lending a very superficial sheen to you "analysis".
I'm not sure if you're actually racist. You may well not be, but simply buying the lines you've read most. But by refusing to examine the underlying causes, you most certainly parrot the party-line of the racists. And as I pointed out earlier, your differential treatment of two different protests, one deadly, the other completely non-violent, indicates to me that this protest by Kaepernick rustles your jimmies a hell of a lot more than the protesters in Charlottesville marching under swastika flags.
