I don't see a military coup happening. Someone close to me is an Army commander...and his thoughts are to let the political/ legal processes (in which the US military doesn't play a part) play themselves out.

ETA: As far as death threats against the POTUS, President Obama got 6-8 death threats per day...and Trump is apparently getting the same number.
