Frankly, I don't drink barely at all now, due to health issues the rest of you don't have. I'll have a literal sip or two of whatever I'm cooking with, but even that isn't that much. A yearly fruitcake or some other rum cake, and recently I used sauvignon blanc in a BBQ sauce for pulled pork.
I love the taste of non-mixed booze. Dry white wine, lager, rum. But it's a stimulant in more ways than one, and I can't afford that kind of stimulation usually.
