The institute MUST find a way to bring down the array's operating costs from the current level of $1.5 million per year to a more realistic financially viable level.
Did it ever occur to you that operating what they do actually does cost money?
I find this mindless "they must bring down costs" bantering to be tiresome. It is so goddamn simple minded and easy to repeat, with the added bonus of lacking rationale as to why they should magically make it cheaper.
Instead of merely shouting "Fix it" perhaps you should present evidence of waste to harp over?
