It appreciates. It seeks intimacy. It causes one anger, frustration, and pain as well.
It is drawn to beauty and seeks it. It loves outward beauty but appreciates inward beauty more.
For every type of relationship, it has its own etiquettes. Thus it is as if a dictionary and manual on how to act with each and everything we come across.
The exact hue of your love, the exact type, the exact degree of that hue, the exact magnitude of that type, is all in the manual, and it tells you "balance" things properly.
It is justice to be short which is nothing but giving everything it's due.
Through the language of love, true strength and power can be gained.
Love's language, begin to listen to it.
What is it source? Where is it coming from?
Why do we so strongly believe in this language and pay attention to it at all cost?
You see it everywhere. There is evidence of it everywhere. In yourself as well.
The degree of belief in it, you cannot even escape. You can delude yourself about it, hide some of its foundational commands or instructions, but at the end, you cannot disbelieve in no matter how much you try.
Among the greatest signs of God is that he put compassion and love between us. And that it is him, as in it him, that is what makes us love and have compassion to each other.
I don't mean cause and effect. I mean it's HIM again that has put love and compassion between us. I mean by that it is by him we ask one another rights and through his name, he created the male and female.
These are signs, compassion, mercy, praise, appreciating, searching for wisdom, etc. I am not going to spell it out for you and lead you on how love unequivocally proves God. I have done so many threads with that approach.
Instead, I leave you with a question: Is a love a mysterious language that doesn't prove anything or is a mysterious language that proves everything worth knowing?

And everyone will come with the answer: "false dichotomy", am I right?
These verses from the Quran are a personal favorites:
Quote:Sura 80, The Quran:
( 33 ) But when there comes the Deafening Blast
( 34 ) On the Day a man will flee from his brother
( 35 ) And his mother and his father
( 36 ) And his wife and his children,
( 37 ) For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
( 38 ) [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -
( 39 ) Laughing, rejoicing at good news.
( 40 ) And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.
Lots of evidence in the Quran shows that your post is -with full honesty- an emotional vomit, that is aimed to convert people without telling them what the rest of the faith says; in its own holy book:
Quote:Sura 5, The Quran:
( 18 ) But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
So I will say what Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- was ordered to say when people say they are "so special" and God "loooooves" them: why does a loving God tortures and destroys and punishes humans for their sins?
That's the hole in your post; OP: it simply defy the own holy book you say you're using as a source.
Quote:Sura 31, The Quran:
( 33 ) O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.
Quote:Sura 33, The Quran:
( 39 ) [Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
Quote:Sura 21, The Quran:
( 49 ) Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.
It's always fear, fear, fear. Across the whole Quran; or in Arabic "يتقون, اتقوا, يتقي, اخشى, يخشى...".
Love is types; OP.
Having sex with your country -for example- means that you are crazy. It is so wrong, because love that dictates sex has a different type than love that doesn't. Love that require sacrifice is different than love that require consumption. Love that enforces loyalty is different than love that enforces fear (AKA Respect). What love do you speak about in your OP? I think you are very confused.
Loving something has so many different types, ways and methods. You don't "love" sleeping like you "love" sexual organs. You don't "love" a sexual spouse as you love your God. Mixing them together will make you commit the same mistakes Christianity made when it turned God into Jesus to be "loved" like a father and a husband.
I think you are very confused.
I think loving God is the kind of love that enforces respect and fear. The"word love" is too broad in the OP.
