I also went to the Rip Curl factory in Torquey and got a nice wetsuit to surf Tasmania--faired dinkum. I am, believe it or not, dinky die, thee first American surfer to ever surf Tasmania. Even South Bruny Is. all by myself for a week! That is, until the Mighty Mutton Bird hunters showed up!(November 9, 2017 at 9:27 pm)The Valkyrie Wrote: Welcome fellow surfer.
Internet or Bondi?
They're both very dirty these days...
The Carlton Draft of Victoria was really good. The Fosters? Really? Both the Boggs and Cascade in Taz were good. The Tooies and Tooths of NSW was also good. However, the Queensland XXXX was awful! I lived mostly on the Northern Beach's of Sydney and didn't surf Bondi. I loved Manley, Dee Why and North Narrabeen. I bounced a couple of times between Bali and Oz surfing the best of the best!
I saw(1979) Doc Nesson and the Angels at the Royal Antler. What a freakin' night!
People often ask me why I moved to Australia. Because the legal age of drinking and gambling is 18! I'm sorry but, there's nothing funner than a bunch of drunken Australian surfers!
Good times my friend! And yes, they still call me Sepo!
