Well yeah Christianity, as with almost all religions, is basically very manic depressing - everything is nonsensical, everything is worthless and boring except god and that other world. Plus some Christianities, like Catholicism, for some reason requires you to sacrifice yourself for what you're doing, like let's say nuns that work in hospitals: they can't just go into hospital, like nurses, and take care of the sick but they also must disavow everything they have and must never have sex or as it is with anything else Catholics are doing.
