Again you are saying I'm judging something as a whole. Where do you come off assuming that? I never said any specific religion or denomination of a religion were doing this. You keep acting like I'm over here throwing out false accusations about things when all I said was something about one kind of event/religious act.
Although btw I live in the bible belt and I have heard this come from multiple people since that church event. It wasn't so harsh as you are a bad person because you were born but it was pretty straight forward that someone in the past did something bad and you are now not good enough to be with the god that created you. Ask for forgiveness and you will be good to go. Well I don't care how old you are that comes across as you have to ask for forgiveness for something you had no control over and that is disgusting.
My husband is a catholic though and he told me that the pope has said that any good person gets to go to heaven so that's not the same concept and I can accept it a bit more.
