I don't believe original sin means in any way, that one needs to be sorry for being born. I do believe that I have enough sin of my own to worry about, without and sin of Adam, and that what we inherited was a sinfulness that needs a cure.
Buying the cure from the same assholes that sold you the illness doesn't strike me as a good solution.
It's almost like it's a massive intergenerational scam trying to sell a conception of morality.
