I love that song, but no, not into musicals. I didn't like the movie Greece even though I did like Olivia Newton John. I have no desire to see the movie. I watched Greece a long time ago once, and was not impressed. I like the music sure, just not musicals as plays or movies.
I can say just about the song itself, "Mamma Mia" I would have to say because of the guitar riff, that song single handed was to me the most responsible for making me desire more heavy guitar. I loved the riff, but always thought, even back then, why so light? Seriously listen to the main riff, that repeats, it was hint for me to things to come as far as metal.
I love the hint at metal in this song. I still to this day believe this song was my gateway to Blondie and Metallica. Back then I always thought "That's a great riff, I want more!'
