While I was not fond of the fact he was a bit of a warhawk, his description of of the God of Abraham as being a cosmic authoritarian ever watching camera never giving you privacy, was quite an apt description of the horrible logic of those whom ascribe to the "omni" concepts of God.
There is no polite way t paint such a character. You do his bidding and you are ok, but if you don't he gets revenge on you.
I hate having to repeat that this character isn't real, but merely reflects the REAL tribal kingships of the the times back then, when local loyalty was far more of an expectation.
In "God Is Not Great" he equates the God of Abraham as being the ruler over a "Celestial North Korea". I agree, Kim Jong Un will treat you well if you do his bidding, but step out of line, you are in for torture or death.
