I don't think parents should be jailed for refusing to allow their kids to be vaccinated, HOWEVER, I would revisit my opinion if/ when a huge outbreak or pandemic occurs with a disease that's preventable with a vaccine.
I do agree with penalties, though, like not allowing a child to attend school if they haven't been vaccinated. I'm glad to know that the vast majority of kids in my daughter's school have also been vaccinated. Hell, I even take my kid with me when I get my own flu shot to set an example for her to follow.
