Which to be honest I have watched on occasion, but not being a native myself, haven't gotten into.
Our more recent heritage has produced a lot of what people call "alternative", stoner rock and of course we invented Grunge. Some of our biggest names include Jimmy Hendrix, The Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Heart, Alice in Chains, Skinny Puppy, Queensryche, Pearl Jam and Nirvana.
Which reminded my husband that Weird Al is also from the West Coast!

As for alternative music, you hit 10 ...

I know all these bands and i have to admit that i grew up on them .....hehe
