Christianity a scam?

I think another thing that hints at it being a scam is the fact that the Bible has been altered several hundred, [maybe thousands of times] throughout history in order to fit someone's own political agenda. It is very likely that the bible that we have today isn't near the same thing as it was when it was first written. Many Christians claim it's the same exact thing, but I fucking doubt that! Just look at how they have even changed it today, to make it "more modern". Christianity is just full of so much bs. I am just astounded that people actually believe in that stuff. Sure, I guess I get why some people want to believe in a God that is loving and all caring. Gives people hope and something to believe in. But when people use that belief to harm others is what baffles me. I mean, if there was a God then I really don't think he'd care what religion one belonged to. He would mostly likely care that you are a good person and not a dickhead.
