NBA foul rules, clue me in......

It's free throws or foul shots. Ok I got it now, it just seemed so weird, but also gives away my age. I haven't watched college or pro on a consistent basis since the early 90s, so watching someone get 3 foul shots was weird. Kinda like getting used to the 2 point conversion in the NFL. |
