Years ago, I met this yogi on Instagram named Heidi. She was amazing, like how you would imagine an Amazon warrior. She kicked so much ass, even though she was struggling with a severely damaged foot that eventually required amputation. I've never met someone with so much joie de vivre. We became Internet friends, you know how those are. Anyway, life caught her up once again and she was diagnosed with melanoma. Last night, she passed away. She was too young, too much of a blessing to everyone around her. It's not fair to her family, not one bit. As far as I can tell, none of them are feeling sorry for themselves, though.
