You kill their family and torch their bar. You don;t do this yourself, ofc...that;s what enforcers are for, and god has a whole army of mindless dolts that do his bidding..so the story is told.
"Don Jehovah, with respect...I don't think that Guido is sufficiently loyal to you, in his heart. Sure, he keeps up appearances, but I think he'd turn states evidence if you didn't show him so much favor."

You've just failed reading and comprehension skills on a basic level, with not an iota of the correct view of the whole situation.
If want to be a genuine student, have the guts to apply yourself.

I was never someone who could be force fed.
It's very apparent that you have had other things fed to you, which you have gobbled up, as if you had no mind of your own.
You can change that, but you won't do it by just meandering with the crowds.

God then goes on the longest rant in the Bible making sure Job knows who is boss. I have read that Job is probably of Greek authorship, not Jewish.
You have misread it, and not understood it at all. And as a consequence you have a wrong concept of God and what he said to Job in the end.
You are certainly not alone on this, most people in churches just do not get it either.
The Bible is supposed to be studied and not just skimmed over, which is what most people do if they read it at all.
God cannot afford to have shallow people inherit eternal life, you'll have to re-examine the whole scene to get it right.
