Maybe useless to you. It may be useful to others. Sentiment has its uses. Sometimes, it does drive people to do something about it when they can. For example, years ago, I heard about a little girl with a tumor disorder that's pretty horrific. She wanted Christmas cards. While I can't help her get better, I can send her Christmas cards, so I do. I should say we do. Tibs pays attention to me when I fill him in on her current situation and signs the card happily every time. Sometimes, people don't even have that much to give, but they can be vocal about their sympathies, which you never know if a family member will come across one day. Talking about it could give someone here solace whose never told us about the murder of a loved one, etc. You just never, ever know. Sure, it could do nothing except serve as catharsis for Cyberman. That's good enough for me.
