You can actually use the ankle weights on your wrists. They typically come with a velcro or other sort of adjustable strap. There's also small hand weights. Usually those are between 1 pound and 8 pounds. I have a set of those plus two 10 pound weights and a 25 pound weight.
The ankle ones are good for helping tone your legs when you walk. I'd use them on the treadmill at the gym.
I'd think that shipping costs would be prohibitive for ankle weights, Vs local purchase, for the price. Maybe look around for a nearer source. Good on you for losing some weight. 4 pounds is a good start. I could stand to lose about 40, myself. I gained ~25 pounds after retiring, much to my chagrin.
