Yeah, precisey for their distance from christianity, it would be more accurately called cultural jesusism at that point...christ is a job title, not a last name.
Though there's no reason to call it jesusism either..since every myth attempts to express some truth. They'd just be atheists who liked bible stories more than the Vedas or Gita, lol.
