Imagine that you are standing in front of a bomb. You have been tasked with defusing this explosive, and you have been given 38,000 manuals to aide you in accomplishing the task. The differences range from minor to major between each manual, however each claims to be the proper technique to defuse this particular explosive. Further, all claim that their methods have defused such a bomb before, but none can show any physical evidence for this claim.
