Farts and religion!!!
In the late 1970's I would go to this ashram and practice a very intensive form of yoga. It was a Sikh community. So, dinner time might be curried cauliflower or dahl and rice. Yoga at 5am. The main yogi preached that holding in farts was very unhealthy. One exercise we did daily was called the Breath of Fire. An understatement, for sure.
