When I first started posting on forums, it was in the ACE750 group on delphi forums which was my first bike. When I made my account, I was trying to come up with a username. I had a mouse pad from my internet provider which was roadrunner cable. This seemed like a good name for a motorcycle forum (I'm may not be the most creative person). Plus, as a 38 year old man, I'm not ashamed to say that I still love Looney Tunes. Even the ones that are now banned for being politically incorrect.
I've got you by a few years, and I still love me some Looney Tunes.

Not so much the ret-con cartoons they tried to do in the eighties and certainly not the tripe they're trying to pass off now, but the real Looney Tunes.

Not at all unwelcoming (it's a fair question). I was previously a participant in a very good Christian forum. It had a number of good intelligent people, and there where a number of good discussions. While many of the discussions where between various forms of other theists, there was a few atheists who came in. The owner of that forum, started to decide that disagreeing with someone wasn't very loving, and that love was the answer, so people started to be banned and censored (theists mind you... not atheists). Many of the good people for a discussion if they where not being banned, started leaving. So long story short, I was banned (although later claimed that it was a mistake), and I started looking for a new place for discussion.
After looking at a number of atheists forums and a few Christian forums, I ended up here. I'm interested in discussion and I was interested in ideas beyond the new atheists movement, and those few atheist who I had talked to in the previous forum. I'm here to examine other ideas, and to evaluate them for myself. And perhaps clear up some misconeptions or offer another Christian POV in some areas that people are not familiar with.
RR, I know we're frequently on opposite sides of the discussion at hand, and some of those discussions have gotten rather heated. I appreciate your presence here though. You've given me food for thought on more than one occasion and you've never once tried to convert me (or anyone else I've ever seen).
