Why Alan Watts for your avatar?

I think it was probably about a year ago that I stumbled upon one of his lectures on YouTube. I became pretty absorbed in his stuff, which is essentially just Zen and Taoism (with the occasional Hindu and Christian stuff thrown in) but taught in a way that is easy for Western audiences to digest. I wasn't doing too great physically or mentally so it was very inspiring at the time. He was my introduction into Zen and Taoist philosophy. I own two of his books, and I still listen to him sometimes (usually as I go to bed.) The first time I meditated I used his guided meditation video. A lot of my worldview, currently, is shaped around his material.

I want to make it clear as I usually do when I discuss this stuff that I am not a Buddhist nor a Taoist, just an atheist who has a strong interest in some far-out stuff.
