BTW "Keeping children for themselves" is not a green light for abuse, not in the English language, and not by society, and not in that historical record.
If you want to deal out scripture, at least have the courtesy to use English by it's grammatical norms.
I grew up around Biblical scholars who were fluent in Hebrew, Greek, and a couple of other languages, and I have also done my own comparisons between the old languages and the English translation. It is practically word for word.
The KJV, has a few words that aren't used anymore, but the meanings are easily understood by the context.
