Also, companies like Samaritans Purse and Operation Christmas Child pretty much bribe poverty stricken children into accepting christianity. OCC sets up an event, hypes it up to locals, all the kids come out to receive trinkets in exchange for listening to the "gospel". Then SP marks all the participants down as coverts. It's a sham. However, SP must spend the money somewhere or risk a decline in donations.
From a anthropological standpoint, if these kids have never heard the xtian "gospel", they probably think its as stupid as xtians think about paganism.

The same model the church has used for centuries. They don't really care if you believe their shit. Just show up and pay up and they are satisfied.
