Christian faith, on the other hand, is tightly rationalised and confined within reason; as opposed to superstition that is the opposite of rational. Of course I mean the rationalising necessary to take the faith leap. I'm being innacurate with words again, sorry :p
Philosophy doesn't require you do believe in stuff without evidence (i.e - making it rightly considered to be bullshit until further notice at the very least)- faith DOES. That's what faith is, belief without evidence. Totally irrational. Philosophy you can just muse about stuff you don't have to believe in it - and by it's own definition in and of itself it doesn't REQUIRE belief at all. So I don't see how it's irrational.
Thinking about anything is just open minded in a good way I think. THAT'S not your 'brains dropping out'...
Being willing to BELIEVE in anything (or belief without evidence, 'Faith' (*spits*)) THAT'S irrational. THAT'S being so open minded that 'your brains drop out'. It's fucking ridiculous.
And yep Phil. Cool that you agree - rational faith is an oxymoron

Because it's not rational to believe in something without evidence - guess what folks! Delusions aren't rational, they're irrational! lol.
