Portal, is it worth trying?

I've got the CD for XCOM: Apocalypse, but I've never played it.  I don't know if it would run under Windows 7.

I played the original XCOM at one point, but the AI kept kicking my ass.

I've always wanted to play the older XCOMs. Their difficulty is legendary.

I was talking about XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3/PC) and XCOM 2 (PS4/PC). (IDK if they're on X box or not.)

I loved those games. Especially XCOM 2. I have probably played XCOM 2 fifty-ish times on the highest difficulty alone. It's rare that a game captures my attention like that. I'm not the avid gamer I was when I was younger. And even then, I can't think of a single game I replayed fifty times.

If you're aching for turn-based tactical gaming, give those titiles a try.
