I understand this as a theory, but in my experience, it is pretty much impossible to be in a state of continual renewal. I know this because I was in that state of mind from about 7th grade through high school. I was always trying to perfect myself, which I found to be an impossible and arduous task. I would be curious what thoughts you have on this, thanks.
