Here's what I believe so no one has to dig for it (if they want to tell me where I stand in accordance with religious views/belief in God):

I am unsure of whether there is a God or not. If there is a God, it is all encompassing and explain everything and it is a single God. This God would be in everything and the universe itself may be a God.
I think due to our culture as we know it today, that belief in God is a hot button issue.
I believe that there are very strong psychological components to belief and that everyone believes some things due to bias which is caused by and imperfection in our perception.
I believe the best person to trust on whether I believe in God or not is myself, since I cannot assume that others have my best self interest in mind.

Sorry, couldn't help it.

WIFOM!

Do you have a reference for this or is this just a joke?

You're an agnostic atheist, by "our" definitions. (I would argue that they are the technically correct ones.)

You could call yourself "just agnostic" if you want, which would then make many atheists on this site also "just agnostic". It would split the atheists into two groups.

Either way round, it doesn't matter as long as everyone understands and agrees.

Yeah, the reason I asked you to place me instead of trying to place myself is basically that I don't really give a shit. I know what I believe about the topic, but I think it's important that other people can have identifiers for what I believe for the sake of understanding, but ultimately, I just don't care what other people call me as long as my views are represented accurately. "Dichotomies" when it comes to belief in God isn't a big concern of mine. I care more about dichotomies to describe how people think more that what they say they believe.

This is interesting, but not relevant to whether you're an atheist or not. If you did come to believe God is real, it seems you'd be a monotheist (one God) as opposed to a polytheist (many gods).

Yeah, I feel like I have been over complicating it because of past judgements. Trying to let them go because fighting is hard.

I am def NOT religious in the slightest. Unless you want to say people who are Introverted Thinking dominant are religious because they adhere to a set of principles then I don't think I am religious at all. I also am too low on the consciousness scale of big 5 to be religious, but my therapist still tells me I am a responsible person so not really sure what to make of that really.

Quick Wrote:you say you dont believe in God and consider yourself agnostic

I am not an agnostic but an agnostic atheist and so although I dont know if God exists I also dont think that God exists
Agnosticism is between theism and atheism but I am atheist rather than agnostic because there is no evidence for God

I think that there being no evidence for God and absolutely no evidence for him makes him less likely to exist on the balance of probabilities
Not all probabilities are 50 / 50 which would be the agnostic position but my position is closer to 0 / 100 without it actually being that though

And I cannot class myself as a gnostic atheist because this would then require me to actually disprove the existence of God which I cannot do
As all truth claims require a burden of proof and if one cannot be provided then the claim in question cannot be demonstrated even if it is true

Thanks for explaining.
But your individuality and your present need will be swept away by change,
and what you now ardently desire will one day become the object of abhorrence.
