They think Adam lived on some other planet, and then died and was sooo well behaved during his life, that God gave him Earth. Which if this is true, we are all the inbred spawns of some well behaved zombie alien. Makes perfect sense. I don't know if this is true or not, but it was explained to me this way by a Mormon, who spoke about it like it was the absolute truth and he was sitting on a mound of evidence.
